Our service model and approach are not conventional. We primarily focus on four areas. The provision of a quasi in-house role through our Quasi-IAM™ service using our APEX∞ process delivered to direct clients and in particular start-ups and SMEs. The provision of enhanced agency services to non-UK based corporations through our Agency+ services. The provision of a variety of IP related services to investors. Last but not least our Patent Attorney Services.


  • Quasi-IAM™

    Our Quasi-IAM™ service is ideal for startups and SMEs who need in-depth strategic IP advisory, IP planning and IP management on an ongoing basis. We work effectively as an in-house resource dedicated to the managment of intellectual property related issues within the business. We co-ordinate and steward decision making and resources under budgetary control. When we are engaged in this role we operate as a member of the management team and work in an integrated fashion.


    We follow a simple but proven process we call APEX∞. This process takes you through the stages of assimilation, planning and execution within an evergreen process of IP value creation.


    The end result is enhanced enterprise value and tangible IP assets.

  • AGENCY+

    We provide the normal intellectual property services for foreign associate law firms who seek advice and support for their clients IP procurment needs in the United Kingdom and Europe.


    We also go one stage further with our Agency+ service. This has been developed for international corporate patent departments that do not have a dedicated resource in the United Kingdom or Europe. We work with these clients in a more immersed and integrated fashion to help create enhanced IP portfolio and enterprise value.

  • Investor Services

    We have extensive experience of handling early stage IP issues for investors prior to investment or before the formation of start-ups for investement.


    We are able to provide a variety of due diligence support services, from basic due diligence, operational IP due diligence throught to in-depth assessments and restructuring of  IP in a commercial context.

  • Patent Attorney Services

    As a fully regulated and constituted firm of patent attorneys we provide all of the usual intellectual property services you would expect from a conventional patent attorney firm.

About Tangible IP


Tangible IP was founded in 2007 by Nick White, an internationally recognised and experienced IP professional and patent attorney, after many years experience at partner and executive level in global IP firms and multinational in-house IP departments.


In 2007 Nick believed that there was a need for a new service model in IP services directed at start-ups and SMEs that provided the high quality, high value outcomes often only experienced by well resourced multinationals.


This is the core of the firms Quasi-IPM™ service. This service is built on Nick's many years of experince and insights from in-house roles and working closely with investors and C-suite teams in start-ups and SMEs.
